Youth Soccer Leagues
Youth Leagues start at U8 and go up to U19 with Premier (Club/competitive) and Championship (AYSO/Intermediate) divisions in each age group except U8. South Coast Soccer City can accommodate over 150 youth teams during any one of the four 12-week seasons scheduled in a calendar year. All leagues in our Winter season, except U8’s, will run for 12 weeks with every team playing eleven regular season games and one playoff game. The two teams competing in the Championship game will be awarded an extra 13th game. U8’s will play a ten week season, nine regular season games and one playoff game. The two teams competing in the Championship game will be awarded an extra 11th game.
Youth league games are typically scheduled between 5 pm and 8 pm on weekdays (4-7 pm for U8 leagues). South Coast Soccer City will aim to schedule age groups in specific day and time slots to make it easier on parents from a planning standpoint.
Registration can be done either by way of registering an entire team with players already assigned to the team, or by registering as an individual (such individuals are placed on a House Team). Cost per season is $799 per team or $95 per player signing up individually for a House Team. U8’s pay $660 per team or $80 per player signing up for a House Team. For our Winter Season (January to March), teams paying in full by December 23rd receive a 5% discount and all returning teams from the Fall Season receive a 5% discount (10% discount if paid in full by December 23rd). Payment plans will be made available for teams requesting to pay team fees over the first 8 weeks of the season.
All league players also need to purchase an annual membership in South Coast Soccer City to cover the cost supplemental insurance provided to all league players. Members get a 15% discount at the Urban Soccer Shop as well as a discount on youth pick-up from $8/hr to $5/hr. Annual memberships cost $40 (or $90 for an entire family) and are valid for a 12-month period. For one youth league player, playing year-round at South Coast Soccer City can cost as little as $360 – for 48 games over 52 weeks!

Additional Terms for Youth League Play:
- Space and late registration are subject to availability. All team registrations require a $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration with balance due prior to first team game. All players are required to have a current annual SCSC Annual Membership ($40 per player; $90 family membership).
- All U8 and U10 teams require a coach; coaches are not required for U12 and above but highly recommended.
- Free agent teams will be created for individual players wishing to sign up but do not have an organized team to play on and SCSC will provide a coach for all free agent teams U8 through U10.
- Day and time of play are the primary scheduled days and times and are subject to change. We try to provide balanced schedules for all teams and look to schedule earlier times for younger players and later times for older players.
